We have a handful of authors who have been publishing with us for 20, 30, even 40 years and I find it heartwarming to see how well their books continue to be received. Dennis Lock’s Project Management was one of the first books ever published by Gower and the Ninth Edition went through something of a sales milestone this month. Eli Goldratt is one of the Gower authors who can claim guru status. This month we repackaged his most successful title The Goal, which has sold over 4 million copies worldwide since it was first published over 20 years ago. In a world obsessed by the new, it is encouraging to see how these great books can still command an audience.
