Wally Olins (author of Gower’s New Guide to Identity) is speaking at the Designer Breakfast on 26th May on “How do designers become more influential and make more money?” Having just attended Shan Preddy’s (How to Run a Successful Design Business) Designer Breakfast yesterday, I recommend these events unreservedly. They are a wonderful opportunity to hear and interact with some of the most influential people in design and the networking is good too … must be something about designers; they do know how to communicate and they are sympathetic and supportive networkers.
