Intellectual property, in common with many aspects of business, is getting more complex. More organizations are working internationally – many in developing countries – and, of course, digitization and the internet have increased the risks and challenges manyfold. In the context of all that, I am delighted to see that Jane Lambert (Enforcing Intellectual Property Rights) is running two half-day foundation courses (in Bradford on 22nd September and Merseyside on the 29th). This is definitely a case where a basic grounding in the law is a life-saver to any commercial organization. I suspect that this foundation course will provide just what you need to avoid facing litigation from others or having to go to law to defend your own rights.
