We’re delighted that David Hillson (the Risk Doctor, to those who know his consultancy) and a prolific Gower author (Understanding and Managing Risk Attitude, Managing Group Risk Attitude, Managing Risk in Projects and Exploiting Future Uncertainty) was made a Fellow of the Project Management Institute at the recent annual PMI Awards.  If you are not familiar with the PMI, you may not understand what a big thing this is. PMI have a huge worldwide membership amongst the project management community, running into hundreds of thousands of members. They are one of (if not the) most influential bodies in terms of project management methodology and professional qualifications and they appoint very few Fellows; usually only two or three a year.
