If, like many other organizations, you’re agonizing over the decision whether or not to adopt some open source software, I strongly encourage you to read Graham Oakes’ article in Computing Magazine. According to Graham there is definitely a right reason … and a wrong reason for choosing open source; if you’re just looking to save on licence costs then the message is “beware!”.
